Posted on Mar 31, 2014 I created a new company a while back, Bob's Bottles and Cans.I'm currently filling out a couple side-industries that use the same materials I needed for making aluminum cans, and glass bottles. Researched: Bauxite, sand, & aluminum 100+ Natural Gas 103 coal is queued for QL 100 in 121 hours glass bottle, aluminum can, glass plate 100+ Silicon is queued up for QL 100 in 298 hours (currently 0) The company has it's own power and water generation, large facilities with substantial excess capacity. 20,000 size coal mine and water well. 20,500 size power plant. The bauxite, silicon, and natural gas wells are all 20,000 in size There are three smelters. One at 20,500 for bottles. One at 20,000 for aluminum (about to be bought up to 20,500 next week) the last is only 500 in size now, and is for plate glass. There is a beverage factory at 20,500 to produce cans There is a crystal producer in the works now, building up to 4216 which will create silicon. There are two hardware stores and two industrial stores. The two active stores are 7,000 in size each. The two inactive ones under constant build are expanding to 5300 now. The plan is to alternate building for the two stores of each type, always leaving one building while the other sells. There are three research plants, each 6500 in size, Prospector, Industrial, and Prospector. Only 18 land plots are bought. I only bought what I needed. In essence, this company is a completely self sufficient aluminum can and glass bottle producer, with the side capacity to generate lots of extra raw materials for other industries, or simple sale into B2B. Glass plate and silicon are offshoot industries, since I was already creating the materials required to generate them. The company can easily complete most quests generated for it by the system. Current production for this week: 1.2+ billion bottles QL 100+ 6+ billion aluminum cans QL 100+ 5.4 million glass plate QL 100+ 0 silicon (research starts after aluminum is researched to 101 for a quest) 57.5 million coal QL soon to be 100+ 23.7 billion water 24.3 billion electricity 30.6 million bauxite QL 100+ 466 million natural gas QL 103+ 231 million silica sand QL 100+ 15.2 million aluminum bars QL 100+ Currently I'm just sinking all of the bottles and cans into the world market, as I don't feel like creating a whole new company to use them. I'm willing to bet there might be someone out there that can use a top notch bottle and can company, pre-built. Current valuation is at 27 billion with 8 billion debt. The debt will go away rapidly. The company makes only 3 or so million per tick in store revenue, but the raw material sales that occur weekly generate about 3 billion on top of that. I do not plan on doing any further research, except when a quest demands it. If anyone's interested, talk to me here. I figure I'll make the company public with a minimal IPO next week or something. I think that will make it more easily visible to perspective buyers? I could sell the company this instant for a bit less than 30 billion, even with all it's debt, and without stopping factories to sell off materials halfway through a production cycle. |

Posted on Mar 31, 2014 That is one epic bottle and can company, my friend. One problem with this game, however, is that factories and farms are way too productive at producing certain things, such as bottles, cans, crops. My beverage company, for example, could most likely produce more cans than the entire game could ever use, and that is using just one or two of my many factories. What this means is that specialist companies that produce only lower tier stuff like cans are not very useful when any company that is big enough and needs cans can easily produce lots and lots itself. However, those who use the liquidation exploit will love it when you flood the market with loads of cheap stuff. |

Posted on Apr 1, 2014 The cans and bottles may not be exciting, but the bauxite, aluminum, and coal are.I'll take it ... how much do you want for it? |

Posted on Apr 1, 2014 Valuation in the game is so difficult to judge. I'll think about it as I clean up the debt this week, Hakim
