Posted on Apr 3, 2012 Dear Valued Customer:You may have noticed that prices at Das Froot have increased today. This is due to added demand from ... well, pretty much everybody. Our dinky little supermarket ran out of two kinds of pies today and we had to double our retail prices until we can bring our new expanded bakery up to speed. Ah, first world problems! Anyhow, our new wholesale price scheme is: Importable goods: 4x base price Non-importable goods: 6x base price Any additional revenues will be plowed straight back into factory space. Our bakery alone has doubled in size in the past 48 hours and could easily double again in the next 48... Meanwhile, we will continue to put out a daily supply of dairy products, ice cream, processed meats, vineyard products and (new!) confectionery items. Watch for food processing items, coming soon! And eventually bakery! Das Froot - crying all the way to the bank! New slogan under construction! |
