Posted on May 8, 2013 Seems to be 32-bit unsigned int, so... 4294967295 m^2Nobody should reach anywhere near that limit. Besides, there's something called ideal firm size: Once your building grows beyond a certain point, the extra expense from salary will actually be greater than the gains from economy of scale. |

Posted on May 8, 2013 nothing defeats the purpose of expansion. my goal here is to have the top 5 manufacturing companies, and to never stop expanding them. i don't care if i have to start 5 more productive companies just to keep the big ones afloat. we each have our own goals. mine is to dig huge holes in the ground, produce enough water and power for the entire virtual world, and feed everyone for cheap. or die trying.

Posted on May 8, 2013 point? http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/3/38/Economies_of_scale.PNG/330px-Economies_of_scale.PNG I think you mean Q2 (so we have to know that point if you coded it) |

Posted on May 8, 2013 What I did is to simply make salary an exponential function relative to building size. It's certainly not scientifically rigorous, so I wouldn't be surprised if that point turned out to be the same for all stores, and for some factories. So yes, it is that Q2, but I don't know where it is either. |

Posted on May 11, 2013 Isn't it also true that some factories can reach the max amount of products produce able before the q2 mark? I think this is true for electricity and water, maybe some other fast producing products too.
