I think we might be entering a recession.

I think Rat enabled some bogus algorithm that is readjusting everything automatically even though stocks are worth as much as people are willing to pay. I have a portfolio of about 20 stocks and every single one is down. I have lost everywhere from 26G to 500k on each and every stock.

I think the only specific change Scott's mentioned on the stock market front is recalculating the underlying stuff on a per-tick basis (as opposed to, what, daily previously), so we may be looking at a major market adjustment just based on the feedback effects of that.

As long as you pick a company with a good P/E and lots of actual networth, the price WILL go up at the end of the "adjustment".

I think this is just because most companies with super high stocks were bogus, once all the stocks crash and hit an equilibrium, I think we will see companies with actual growth rise in stock price, as compared to the inflated values that were happening before

I don't think they currently do, but could you make buildings show up at full price on the net worth sheet? Plot purchases, research, and inventory as well?

Also, could we get a report of a detailed appraisal of every public company at last rollover?

I'm losing as much as everyone else. I had ZERO cash when the adjustment was started. I am thrilled though at the hope that stocks react more correctly to the combination of company performance and demand for the stock.

With all that B2B listings I see from Elry, I'm sure it'll grow back.

It's just simple adjustment for hyperinflated stock prices right now.

i think the shares price are more accurate now... if you compare the real assets, networth, and the financial assets

I agree, there actually seems to be some logic to stock prices so far.

Prices will jump based on demand but they seem to seek what the financial reports would indicate is actual value.
