Hello,

I was considering how to start on new server ( that's why I created this 2nd account ) and I have a concern about something...
When you start, you own a plantation as building, and you have some fruits and some water in your warehouse.. that's all and this will be the case for every users in new server.

Unless I miss something, issue will come that you will need electricity to produce something.
As the server will be completely fresh, there wont be any electricity on B2B market and you can't import electricity.
And to be able to produce electricity yourself, you need either coal ( which require electricity and you can't import it ) or natural gaz ( same ).

So how can you get electricity at start ? How this world started ?

I've thought about this too, the same issue will be there with water. I assume that Ratan Joyce will have some power on the market, or start everyone off with some.

Don't new players' companies begin with electricity and water? I don't see the issue.

Today you start with water, not electricity.

Maybe RJ can make a power company to sell power for the first month or so (at a relative premium) until some people get into the power selling business. How was it handled when the game started?

Either electricity will be available on the market... in one form or another.

Or we will have to produce our own, until the market ramps up

What can we do? You can't even buy raw materials to make electricity with a power plant.

eric scott,

It is impossible to produce electricity without coal or natural gas. It is impossible to produce coal or gas without electricity.

Yup, noticed.

Must be why the player # was dropping so much lately on ratjoy.com.
