Posted on Aug 7, 2012 Well its all good points but i think this simple resource system is for the sake of playbility and to keep things simple. Now imagine that he changes the resources needed to be more acurate,ex: CARS : electricity, car frame, car bodywork, car interior, doors, wheels, car acessories, Front Windshield, Rear Windshield, Side Windows. (i think thats all) CAR FRAME : steel CAR BODYWORK : Electricity, Bodywork Frame, Bumper, Front Side Panels, Rear Side Panels, Hood, Roof, Trunk Door, Primer, Sand, Paint, Front Lights, Side Lights, Tails Lights, Stickers, Antena, etc as you can see we can go all the complexity of real world or just get a few more significant pieces to use as resources all depends on the complexity we want from this game. One thing would be cool with more complexity, there would be much more need for teamplay and dependency on other players factories, the downside is we dont have enough players for that kind of complexity. my 2cents |

Posted on Aug 7, 2012 1 mattress and some planks/lumber equals 1 bed.Creating a big production, where 1,000,000 (for example) mattresses for each bed should be needed, always "forgets" to add some mattress so you get: 950,000 mattresses = 1,000,000 beds. I like this kind of production. |

Posted on Aug 8, 2012 It is called Economies of Scale for a reason. The whole point is that the more you produce at a time, the more "efficient" you get. But that, also, is not what this thread is about.
