Posted on Jun 4, 2012 As most people are on a relatively even footing now, I think this is the perfect opportunity to get more people involved in the game and be active in "marketing it". What are some marketing methods for a game like this?

Posted on Jun 4, 2012 I think a game like this needs the right kind of players. Larger forums may not be good places to advertise take 4chan for example. Word of mouth is a good way to help though I don't know anyone who likes this type of game. I'd say advertising in smaller forums related to economics might be a good idea. This site http://www.big-boards.com/ lists the largest 2,245 forums on the internet.

Posted on Jun 4, 2012 The best way to get it out there is to get it stable and fun. Word of mouth and the voting sites will certainly take care of the rest. I am deeply engaged in another econ game with lots of players that might love this. But it is not ready for prime time yet, and I don't want my own credibility shot there. I brought one very close friend in, and she hated it. I will wait a week or two until I am sure I am even going to like where this is headed. Right now I am less sure than a week ago. Not trying to be negative, just honest about how I feel about it right now.
