Good question... probably means the price it should be sold at if I decide to lower the price_multiplier to 1.0, and get rid of export and import markets.

Good thing is that's probably not gonna happen.

Bad thing is I don't know what to do with that price either, probably just rename it as... base price?

If I remembered correctly, what I heard from my econ course pretty much goes like this:
Production cost = (raw material cost + labor cost) * 2
Wholesale price = production cost * 2
Retail price = wholesale price * 2

Even then the profit margin is rarely above 20%, because of overhead.
