I am struggling to see how this is cheaper though, as 3 buildings will require much more staff to operate than 1 building, no matter the size.

You're absolutely right, perhaps it'll be better if I sum up all the building sizes first, and then apply the power. We'll see how it goes.

I just realized why I did what I did: so it'll be easier once I choose to add salaries and maintenance into production costs.

I would figure retail workers are paid the least out of the bunch... not necessarily skilled work required there...

And you can hire on a bunch of high school and college kids during rush seasons with minimal training.
