I suppose ( and I hope, otherwise I wont pay anything and not play anymore ) that this will not give any direct advantage in game. Some ideas : - to give access to LAZY button with a slider from 1.1X to 10X ( confort ) - to give access to production with time length input ( experimental feature today , confort ) - to allow avatars / logos in game ( cosmetic ) - to have a star close to the nickname in forum ( cosmetic ) etc

Like maybe waiving some transaction fees, cheaper loan, or exclusive access to a feature to move resources automatically between your private companies.

That would be strictly convenience for most people.
