Posted on May 5, 2014 Here's what I could finally conclude upto. I'll explain taking an exampleSuppose you consider beer as a product. Beer requires 1) electricity 2) Barley 3) Can 4) Filtered water 5) Research Now I'll won't consider electricity because it is the most basic thing in the game Now taking point 2 which is barley, Barley being made from water+electricity+research A player X wants to make beer So he needs barley, can, filtered water for barley he needs electricity and water(most basic items hence ignored since most people have their own supply chain) for can he needs Aluminium For aluminium he needs bauxite and for bauxite again back to electricity and water For filtered water he requires a beverage factory and ultimately electricity+ water What I propose is this there 5 players taking part in making beer altogether Players X, Y, Z, V, W Player X only makes beer posts requests for barley, cans, filtered water. Player Y makes lots of farm products including barlet so he keeps fulfilling the barley requests of player X Player Z makes cans. He needs aluminium and bauxite So he can Either put up a request for aluminum or produce the whole process upto cans and in return keeps fulfilling requests of player X for cans.(here player W is optional. Can either make aluminum if player Z decides to only make cans ) Player V makes filtered water. Thus this will integrate players with each other and make this game a bit more fun. Here the one thing that's a disadvantage is that the big players for eg. Nisa have so many comapnies of themselves that they don't need to depend on others. They can make the entire process themselves. |

Posted on May 8, 2014 This cooperative thing is turning out to be pretty fun. Someone else should start a company that we can sell components to.

Posted on May 9, 2014 Thinking about putting up some of my companies for ipo in the hopes of renewing stock activity. Would love to see the stock price actually be based off of the value of the company and its potential for growth but not sure if that's possible on here anymore. What do you guys think?

Posted on May 9, 2014 You could try and take on a market maker role in your stock by buying at a low price and selling at a higher price. I don't think it would work, though; company values just keep going up in this game, so there's no fluctuation in value; and, most players have more cash than they need already, so there's no reason to sell, which causes people to hold on to their stocks pretty much forever.

Posted on May 18, 2014 Way I see it, you got big companies buying out all of my offerings, rather then smaller ones taking it piecemeal. It is annoying to see that.

Posted on May 28, 2014 I agree there is still a problem with people just taking all of a product at once. One solution would be to contact smaller companies that need those products and have them set up requests, that way you are directly interacting with them and are in control of quantities sold.
